Sans Façon
Sans façon began as an investigation between French architect Charles Blanc and British artist Tristan Surtees, and has developed into an ongoing collaboration through an art practice. Since then they have taken on a number of diverse projects, both temporary and permanent, which explores the relationship between people and place.
Inverness was lucky enough to be one of only 10 cities around the world to have the chance to experience their latest work - Limelight:Saturday Night, which took place on 11th september on Church Street. The work consisted of a pool of light projected onto the pavement, which invited passers by to playfully interact with the streetscape and to maybe view the usually familiar surrounding in a different way.
You can follow their progress on their blog as they take the work to different cities throughout the world.
